Fall Inspired Affair by Custom Event Group
This wedding is RIDICULOUS. You actually might need to sit down because what I have for you today is complete and total bliss. It was designed by the genius that is Rebecca Feeney, owner of Custom Event Group in Napa Valley…and it just might be the prettiest wedding we’ve ever shown on SMP.

Now, I know that you guys want to see weddings that are outside of these picture perfect areas, like Napa Valley, as they are just not practical for a lot of you. But I promise you will find so much inspiration from this wedding that will translate into any venue in any city you, will hardly believe your luck!
Here are a few details from the lovely Rebecca…
Chic, Orange and Teal Bash!
This isn’t the typical SMP wedding. It’s a little bit of a departure from our normal style but there is something so fabulous about this affair, I just couldn’t help myself! Designed by the RIDICULOUSLY talented team at Your BASH!, this wedding is cool, sophisticated and utterly chic.

From the beautiful bride…
After nearly 15 years to the day of on-again, off-again dating through college and graduate school, through living in separate countries, to living in New York, Anthony and I decided to make the move back to his hometown of Beverly Hills, California. After a romantic getaway to Big Sur in December 2008, Anthony proposed and we were swept into a whirlwind of plans. We had to work around some family members’ travel schedules, so the only month that would work in 2009 was July. We had our hearts set on Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, and July 5th was the only date available. As it turned out, the day after a major national holiday was quite possibly the perfect time for all of our loved ones to get away, and make a mini-vacation out of their trip to La-La-Land.
I knew from the start that I needed event planners that were “cool” and that understood my style. I’m not one for lace, pearls or pastels and my now-husband and his Italian family take every opportunity to celebrate with flair. One of my goals for the wedding day was to remain calm and easy-going. Instead of tears – both of joy and anxiety – I wanted to be laughing. In my first meeting with Brian Worley, I knew he and his partner Jaime Geffen of YourBASH! would be the ones I could trust to take a few of my ideas and run wild, all the while keeping my nerves at bay, and all of our spirits light and lifted.
More coming up in just a bit!
Sweet, Sophisticated Wedding in Maryland, III
Love, love, love all of the girly details that this bride infused into her day. Her color palette of Tiffany Blue and White is so crisp…sophisticated with a hint of prep. Super cute.

From Laya, the lovely bride…
I made one of a kind clutches for my bridesmaids – each one was different using various fabrics for the lining, as well as the details in the pleats, etc. I also made the hairclips worn by the flower girls.
Etsy was my main source for stationary and other decorations. My wedding invitations were designed and printed by Jennifer from Pink Lily Press. I also worked with Ashley Bowen, the designer/owner of 2BirdStone to create digital designs for map/direction inserts, table numbers, thank you cards and favor inserts/tags, inspired by my invitations – this gave me the opportunity to shop around for a printing company in my neighborhood to save money. The ring pillow was created by Rainsend, the Cake Topper by DK Designs, and my hairpiece was custom designed by LoBoheme. I had our photo guestbook custom designed by Amanda from Paperlust, and instead of seating cards, we had Giselle from GE Designs create a seating chart that matched our stationary. The chairback decorations were created by Maria from St Jude’s Creations using crepe paper.
Our wedding was everything I’d hoped for and more. Despite the weather channel’s predictions for rain, there was not a single dro pof rain all day and the sky was as clear as it could have been. The day really was filled with all the vintage charm the town of Havre de Grace could offer, with love and laughter, a whole lot of dancing, great music and amazing food!!!
