the only purple-ish drink I can think of is a shot called the Red Headed Sl*t, which of course you would have to pick a different name for. They are good, though! :)

Good luck!

The given name of this drink has a really bad word in the name, so I’d suggest renaming it for your wedding, but the combination is SOOOOO tasty.

1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1/2 oz DeKuyper® Razzmatazz liqueur
1/2 oz sweet and sour mix
1/2 oz 7-Up® soda

Color wise a drink that comes to mind is a “pornstar” its Blue Curaco, Rasberry sourpuss and sprite. Tastes like a blue slushy. Change the name to something that fits your theme and your set.

Purple Hooters are delicious and oh, so purple- I don’t know how they’re made, but they can be found in most any bartending guide.

Here are some suggestions for names (since you can’t call it a “purple hooter” at a wedding):

So Grape Together (Assuming it’s a grape-flavored drink)

Love in Lavender

Or you don’t have to mention the color (everyone can see it’s purple!) and just call it “Love Potion #9″ or something like that.

Another idea- your new last name + “tini” (Example: Johnson-tini)

In regards to a drink recipe, you could always do a purple hooter – of course you could just give it a different name. Here is the basic recipe for it:
Purple Hooter recipe
Add Comments Scale ingredients to servings
1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz Chambord® raspberry liqueur
1 splash 7-Up® soda
Pour ingredients into a stainless steel shaker over ice. Shake until ice cold. Strain into a large shot glass, and serve.

Purple Devil
1 Part Triple Sec
1 Part Cointreau
1 Part Amaretto
Fill With Cranberry Juice
1 Splash 7-Up
Directions: Shake alcohol with ice
Strain and pour over ice in a tall glass
Add cranberry juice to fill most of the way
Add a splash of 7-up if you want it fizzy!

Purple Gecko:
1 1/2 oz Tequila
1/2 oz Blue Curacao
1/2 oz Red Curacao
1 oz Cranberry Juice
1 oz Sour Mix
1/2 oz Lime Juice
Directions: Shake with ice and pour into salt-rimmed cocktail or margarita glass
Garnish with a lime wedge

Purple Heart (that’s a cute name)
1 Shot Blue Maui
1 Shot Red Maui
Directions: Pour both shots into same glass, add ice if want chilled, stir, and drink

Purple Rain:
Ice Cubes Or Crushed Ice
1 1/2 oz Gin
Fill With Cranberry Juice
1 Splash Blue Curacao
1 Splash Sour Mix
1 Splash Soda Water
Directions: Fill glass with ice
Add gin, fill with cranberry juice and add a splash of Blue Curacao, sour mix and soda
Shake gently, add more Curacao for correct color (should be Royal Purple)

Here is a good site you might also want to check out for drinks.

In regards to names, what about something like – Purple Passion? Lilac/Lavender Lovers? Or Lavender/Lilac Love…
I don’t know – maybe you could try to do something cleaver with your names. Like my name is April and his name is Tim so we had an April-Timmy (Apple Martini)
I hope it helps a little bit. Good luck! ♥

Make a special martini and just add red and blue food coloring to it. :)

Here’s a recipe that will be perfect because it’s plum flavored –

1Part(s)AbsolutVodka
1Part(s)Extra Dry Vermouth
1Part(s)Choya UmeshuPlum Liqueur
2Part(s)Sour Plum Juice

Instructions:
shake and pour into chilled glass rimmed with sour plum powder
