foxxy asked:

im getting married next year november 09. Originally i wanted either a dark purple or blue with silver colors because it fits perfect with the theme but my fiance’s favorite color is orange and i feel bad because he has let me pick everything from the date to the church to the reception site so i kind of want to please him with the color orange. Would it look wierd?

maybe light bluish-silver dresses with a slight hit of orange peeking out from underneath. that would be cute and different.

Well, if your coach turns into a pumpkin, you are covered. How about peach? Or, in November, you can certainly use orange in your flower arangements.

I have never knowingly met anyone whose favorite color is orange lol.

Blue with silver is themed. I’m sure if he’s gone along with the fact you’re doing a theme, he’ll understand. The best way to have him understand is just to show him Cinderella’s dress. :)

Keep the dresses blue/silver. Let some orange creep into the groomsmen’s outfits (ex. orange bowties). That way his color is reflected in his party and your colors are reflected in yours. Also, orange is a tough color for some skintypes to wear well, so some of your bridesmaids may hate you if you put them in orange dresses.

maybe blue or silver dress or how ever you wanted it with an orange sash/ribbon around the waist of the dress?

Veto this! They should be in Cinderella ball gown blue! You were right. Orange? What would be cute would be pumpkin centerpieces….there is your orange.

Light blue as this pick shows =&h=720&w=485&sz=157&hl=en&start=1&um=1&tbnid=nVca3B7sL8G3pM:&tbnh=140&tbnw=94&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dcinderella%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den

I thought a Cinderella wedding had to be sky blue and pink. The mice can wear orange.

well you could have a pink and orange colour theme, it would match your theme verry well. You can have the colours pale or have them bright and vibrant e.g. pink bridesmaids with pink, yellow and orange flowers or a peachy orange colour with pink, yellow and orange flowers

or go for a tiffany blue with coral/orange or red and a bit of orange

Well in Cinderella, she is wearing a light, light blue dress. Maybe have the bridesmaids wear light blue and you wear the traditional white.
Maybe use the orange in the flowers and in the reception hall.
